COACHING FOR NEURODIVERGENT woman
AND WOMAN REWRITING THEIR STORIES
You were never broken.
The systems simply weren't
built for you.
Hi, I'm Jean Sheridan. I spent decades teaching tools that worked beautifully for other people — and quietly wondering why they never worked for me. Understanding my own neurodivergence changed that. This is a place to be met as you actually are.
My belief
I spent most of my life believing I was the only one who thought they were broken.
That's not true. There are so many of us, women labelled too much, not enough, scattered, unfocused, unreliable, too sensitive, too intense.
Most of this work begins with something simpler than any framework: one person being seen, heard, and taken seriously by another. Before strategy, before scaffolding, before any tool, connection.
Imagine being told your entire life that you are a locomotive. You're supposed to run on tracks. So you try. You force yourself onto the rails — and something is always wrong.
Then you discover you were never a locomotive at all. You are a sailboat. You don't need tracks; you need freedom and flexibility to process information, to let your nervous system regulate, to honour your sensitivity — to move not in a straight line, but in responsive, fluid motion.
WHERE TO READ MORE
Jean tells her story in full in her chapter, “The Sailboat on the Railroad Tracks” in a new book, due out in October 2026.
WHO THIS IS FOR
My current focus is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed wellness, wellbeing, and executive-function coaching for late-identified Au/DHD women — women who discovered their neurodivergent identity later in life, or were never diagnosed at all, and who know in their bones that the story they've been told about themselves is incomplete.
I also support women working through Complex- PTSD recovery in partnership with a therapist.
I'm a coach, not a therapist or medical provider. I do not diagnose.
